MY OPINION
Do you see the unicorn symbol on
the eyeshadow pot in the picture above? Doesn’t it look adorable? Packaging is one
thing that attracts me in a product. The other thing is the name like ‘Magic Dust’.
Don’t you think unicorn and magic dust is an enchanting combo? Reminds me of
all the magical stories I read as a kid.
Here's how 'Twilight' looks on my eye.
Twilight is such a grand mix of
purples. I don’t even know how to describe it. It is a beautiful violet and
lavender and I also noticed some purple shimmer in it. Lime Crime describes it
as ‘Soft lavender-purple with twinkles of
violet.’ The colour alone makes me go wow. Loose powder eyeshadows are the
most versatile of all. They are super-pigmented, can be applied wet to give
that sleek, foil look and can be used as an eyeliner. Well, Lime Crime Magic Dust
is definitely all three. With a dry brush it is well pigmented, applies and
blends on like a dream. But when you apply it on top of an eye primer or with
a wet brush then you get to know how insanely rich the colour can get. I think
this shade control thing is pretty great; it helps you give that mellow, elegant eyes when
you want or gives you that fancy look on night outs. The shimmer (which
thank god is not too much like glitter tends to be) makes your eyes look
bright. Without an eye base, I did experience some fall-out. I haven’t
actually used for a whole day to see how long lasting it is.

Its colour power and beauty
totally impresses me. I definitely want to try out some more shades from Lime
Crime.

MY OPINION
Eyeshadow primer is a base to
your eyes. It helps in intensifying the colour and making it last long without
creasing.
For so long I have been searching
for a GOOD (by good I mean awesome) eyeshadow primer. And have never found The
One. I have never built up the courage to spend on something as expensive as the MAC or Urban Decay primer. When Lime Crime sent me there Candy Eyed Eyeshadow Helper, my search ended. For
starters just how cute the teal pot is.
Before I say anything else take a look at the swatch.
To all those MAC and Urban Decay
lovers you MUST try this. So awesome, in so much less. Merely this swatch
explains how intensified the eyeshadow gets with this base underneath. I applied a thin layer of the primer with a finger over my eyes and it set on effortlessly. I topped it with
Lime Crime’s Magic Dust in Twilight and I didn’t even know I could fall in love
with the colour more.
The eyeshadow fit into every crook and
cranny, evenly toned. And you know the best thing is that this primer is
WATERPROOF. I touched my eyeshadow so many times later and it just refused to
budge. It stayed crisp on my eyes as long as I wore it for about 8 hours,
without any creasing. And I am sure if I had allowed it would have stayed fresh for a whole day. Especially, it is a wonder product for people with oily lids. Later you really need a good makeup remover to
remove it. And not to forget this primer is totally fragrance-free.

Smooth formula, intensifies
colour, no creasing, crisp eyeshadow all day – that is all I want from any eye
primer and Lime Crime’s Candy Eyed Eyeshadow Helper really gives you all that. This is at least MY No.1 eye primer.
