A while ago I reviewed the amazing Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. Louise from Liz Earle’s PR team was
so kind to send me samples of Instant Boost Skin Tonic and Skin Repair Moisturiser Light
to try out too.
INSTANT BOOST™ SKIN
TONIC
LIZ EARLE SAYS
This heavenly floral-scented, non-drying toner refreshes, soothes and
brightens your skin. Gentle and alcohol-free, it also adds a fine layer of
moisture.
Pour onto a cotton wool pad and sweep over face and neck after using
Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. Alternatively spritz over face and
body to revitalise at any time.
Naturally active ingredients include organic aloe vera to revitalise
and soften and calendula, chamomile, cucumber and natural source vitamin E to
soothe and refresh the skin.

FACTS AND FIGURES
This skin tonic is available in spritzer
or bottle of various sizes. I was sent the 200 ml bottle. The bottle is very
different, you need to twist the cap to open and dispense the product. The tiny hole
gives you perfect control on how much to drop on your cotton pad.
MY OPINION
Liz Earle products are love at
first glance because of their elegant and classy look. Even before trying
anything out, you believe they will work. This toner like all Liz Earle
products has a heavy scent, kind of like a perfume. While dabbing it on my face
after using Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish I felt refreshed. Honestly.
My skin looked smooth and supple. I think this is a wondrous toner. The best I
have used so far. It has moisturising properties in it too. If your skin’s
feeling parched and dried, just dab/spray this toner on your face and you will
be hydrated without feeling all creamy. Best of all it is alcohol free and
gentle plus suitable for all skin types. I am using this toner sparingly
because it’s not available in Pakistan and I want it to last forever :P
RATING
Fiver! If you indulge in only the
best of, you need to have Liz Earle’s Instant Boost™ Skin Tonic.

MY OPINION
I have a very tricky skin, and
very few products suit me. I prefer to stay away from all kinds of rich
moisturisers or I break out. I was really anxious to test out Liz Earle’s
innovative Skin Repair Moisturiser Light. This too is heavily scented and
unlike other Liz Earle scents that I love, this kind of gets to my head. It is
different, and people who love strong scents may love it too, but I am a little
picky, though I did get used to it. Liz Earle says to apply just a pea sized
amount of this moisturizer. And they really mean it. It is very rich and a tiny
amount is quite sufficient. I started using it as a night cream. On the first
application, my skin felt heavy. Later, I did not experience any heaviness. It
is not all greasy, absorbs well in your skin. My skin did look radiant in the
morning but after a few days I started to break out. Bad luck for me, because I
was really bent on in including this to my skin regime. The weather here has
been really stuffy, so I plan not to give up and try it out in winters. I will
update a review again on how it goes when it’s cold and your skin needs lots of
hydration. But for now, all you with dry skin, Skin Repair Moisturiser is YOUR
product.
