MY OPINION
I was never even
aware of the OCC Lip Tars until the Pout Paints came. The idea of mixing and
creating lip paints was novel and very intriguing. Not to mention
the fact that even without creating new colours, the Pout Paints alone are so
fun to wear.

True to its name, the
Pout Paints paint your lips. They are somewhere between a lipgloss and a
lipstick. They are creamy with a thick consistency, blend easily, give a light
sheen to the lips and are super duper moisturizing. They have an AWESOME colour payoff, even the
lighter shades are very noticeable. For me it a good thing, I love bold, bright
colours, I like conspicuous lips. The tiniest of drop covers your whole lip and
they last as long as you yourself don’t take it off. The only thing is that
this not a product for on-the-go application, you definitely need a lip brush
and a somewhat steady hands to create that perfect pout.
Apart from all this,
you get to make your own shades. Mixing, matching and playing around with
colours who doesn’t love that. Though it may get tedious doing it on daily
basis, but we all have some occasions to dally.
Mauve Over is kind of
a purple, fuchsia colour. Crazy I know. But if you can carry it off it looks
great, not at all wacky.
Milkshake was a
colour I was prepared to fall in love with, unfortunately it came out as a very
milky peach for my skin tone. But it’s a Pout Paint after all. I mix it up with
Mauve Over and voila, I have a pretty pink.
