like decades since I last wrote here. And it feels so damn good to be back. My
wedding is over and it was a beautiful series of events. I will definitely do a
post on it soon.
Today I am doing a post about my staple beauty products throughout my journey from pre-wedding to wedding to Germany. Some I got from Pakistan, some I purchased here but I love each of them to bits and have not stopped using them.
If you have heard anything about
the beauty of Germany, every word you have heard is RIGHT. It’s like city life
in a forest. I am living in DΓΌsseldorf and I have not seen such greenery, such
grandness anywhere else.

JAPANESE CHERRY BLOSSOM EAU DE
TOILETTE & BODY LOTION
I got this duo from a store here.
I bought the Eau De Toilette for 23 euros (PKR 2500 approx.) and got the sample
size Body Lotion in a deal for free. And both these smell D-I-V-I-N-E. I just
can’t seem to get enough of their scent. It is feminine, it is romantic, it is
refreshing. Its top notes are of cherry blossom, apple and magnolia. And
anything softly floral is just me.
SLEEK GLISTEN ME LIQUID
ILLUMINATOR – EMPRESS
I like liquid highlighters
because they blend so well, are silky soft and give a very natural glow. Sleek’s
Glisten Me Illuminator does all that. It is a gorgeous shimmery, golden
highlighter and I have been using only THIS since I have bought it. I got this
from just4girls.pk for PKR 995.
NIVEA CLEANSING MILK
Nobody can beat Liz Earle’s
Cleanse and Polish. But then not everyday you can buy it. It’s too expensive and not easily available everywhere. I had to find a good enough
alternative so that I can save my Liz Earle’s Cleanse and Polish for special occasions.
I bought Nivea’s Cleansing Milk from ENEM, Lahore for PKR 175 and it was NOT a
disappointment. It removes makeup quite well, except for stubborn mascaras for
which you need a li’l patience. Overall for daily use I am really glad with the
purchase.
HARD CANDY FOX IN A BOX – SPICY &
SWEET
I have already reviewed it here. This is my on-the-go blush because
of the soft corally mix of colours.
NYX NAIL POLISH – MERMAID GREEN
I have of course not been using such an exotic shade for wedding and post-wedding parties. But here in Germany
I have loved wearing this. It is so chic and teal is amongst my favourite
colours. I got this from LUSH Grooming Bargains for PKR 390.
WET N WILD LIPSTICK – BARE IT ALL

Like many, nude lipsticks give me
such delight. I find them elegant and perfect for everyday use. It is hard to
find a perfect nude sometimes, because how most tend to make you look ashy. I
ordered Bare It All from LUSH Grooming Bargains for PKR 450 and discovered it
to be the best nude I have used so far. It is matte, opaque and a beautiful light biege.

ORIFLAME EYELASH CURLER
Another just4girls.pk purchase
(PKR 345) that did not go wrong. Definitely an update from my previous generic
lash curler. This gives my lashes a good enough curl, is well shaped and I love
the purple on the handles.
