THE BASICS
Essence Lipsticks come in colour coded packaging. The shades of the
lipstick are mimicked on the tube it comes in. They are available in 16 shades
with different finishes. Today I am reviewing All About Cupcake.
When in doubt, use All About Cupcake, the colour looks good
with anything without emptying your pockets!
MY OPINION
Seeing Essence Lipsticks for such a cheap price tag I decided to give one
a go and picked the colour I most liked on the swatch All About Cupcake which is a soft peachy-pink shade, a colour hard
to go wrong with. The lipstick has a creamy, glossy finish, is very
mositurising but not heavily pigmented. It is pigmented enough to make the colour
pop on your lips but I won’t call it opaque, at least the lighter shades are
not.
The shade I picked up is
definitely very pretty and flattering. I end up using this every day. The lighter, glossier shades wear quickly staying for not more than 2-3 hours on my lips.
To top it all the matching tubes
make it easy to pick a colour when in a rush and they have such cute names too.
