THE BASICS

There are three of Benefit Lip & Cheek Kits. I purchased Go TropiCORAL. It contains four mini sized items – Cha Cha Tint (0.13 oz), High Beam (0.13 oz), Coralista Powder (0.1 oz), Ultra Plush Coralista Lip Gloss (0.22 oz) and a mini powder brush. The kit also has a mirror attached with a detachable Tip and Tricks card to help with the application of these four minis.

MY OPINION

Benefit combined their cult lip and cheek products in these adorable boxes. Nobody can deny that these kits are not beautifully designed and packaged. They are made of a very sturdy cardboard, are travel-friendly and perfect for on-the-go application with the mirror and tiny brush inside. The product tray is removable making this cute little box reusable for any trinkets one may want to keep.

Cha Cha Tint is a pink-orange tinted lip and cheek stain. I LOVE it on my lips. It looks so natural and pretty and stays for so long. Top it with the Coralista Lip Gloss and you get coral-ness perfected. Since coral is my ultimate favourite shade in makeup, I die an inch with joy every time I combine the tint and gloss together. On the cheeks the Cha Cha Tint is not such a joyful death, transfers as very subtle coral tint but stays till you remove. The Coralista Lip Gloss on the other hand is oh-so-beautiful - the wish of a coral-lover. It is not at all sticky, feels weightless, has a gorgeous sheen to it and stays for 2 hours max.

Ever dreamt about those glowy Vogue faces? Those dreams are replaced with you on the cover once you have High Beam in hand. Trust me when I say this has to be the BEST highlighter EVER (at least among what I have used so far). A stunning shimmery pale-pink that blends effortlessly and highlights the high points of your face to perfection with its sheen.

The Coralista blush is a bit less pigmented for my liking but nonetheless no less amazing than the others. It is a peachy-coral shade with golden shimmer to make your cheeks glow. Though I have to use a couple of swipes to make it show.

As for the brush, obviously it cannot replace our fluffy powder blushes, but if you are in a hurry and only have this kit in your bag then you can work with the brush, it is quite small but not coarse.

Some may find this kit expensive but if you want to try out the best of Benefit always go for their fancy kits, they are amazing for the value and so darn functional. And I love this one to bits!
