THE BASICS
Astor collaborated with Heidi Klum who is a German-American model to launch a new line of Color Last VIP Lipsticks. They are available in 9 (really) awesome shades. It is not mentioned on the tube the amount of product each lipstick contains. Today’s review is about four shades from this collection.

MY OPINION
With each passing day, with each
passing product Astor is becoming my
favourite European drugstore brand. They always have new releases every month
or so. Their packaging is so refined. And the quality of their products is
amazing. Not to forget, I pay so less to buy any product.
The packaging of Heidi Klum Color Last VIP Lipsticks again wow-ed me! It
is so classic and has such a high-end look to it, with the Heidi signature and a gold heart. Though the tubes are made of
plastic.
The lipsticks have been given simple, cute names. 002 Sweety is a warm peachy nude shade, which has rapidly become my favourite nude lipstick. 003 Cheeky is an orange-coral which is very similar to Sleek Papaya Punch, except for its cream finish. This colour is going to look so beautiful in Spring. 007 Bubbly is a bright magenta pink which I thought resembled Topshop All About Me but this has more hint of purple. 006 Sexy is a true vivid red shade. Very hot, very loud!
I have swatched all nine shades in the store and honestly there is not even one that I wouldn’t want in my collection. There is everything from nude to coral to orange to red to pink and each shade is different from the other. I absolutely love the colour selection of this range. I can’t even pick a favourite from these four.

The lipsticks have a cream finish
with medium to high coverage, but might feel drying if you have dry lips, giving you that urge to lick your lips. They are quite buildable and quite pigmented as
you can see in the swatches below. They wear out in 4 hours, which I don’t think is a bad yet not an
outstanding wear-time for a lipstick. They don’t last upto 8 hours as Astor claims. The darker shades also
leave a stain behind.

A great collection of colours with amazing quality! And for the price..MUST-HAVE!
