Remember in my last Glitter Gal NOTD post I forewarned you of another upcoming drool-worthy polish? Well here it is today, the Glitter Gal Duochrome Hell-Bent Blue.
Glitter Gal has already 6 sheer duochromes in their range
which are best worn over black or a dark nail polish. And two limited edition red duochromes, Hot Chili and Transfusion are going to be added to their collection soon.
Glitter Gal Duochrome Hell-Bent Blue is a subtle but
stunning multichrome effect. It is a royal blue with purple/turquoise multichrome.
I have tried my best to capture the beautiful shifting gradient effect. Around the edges of my nails you can spot the purple
shade. And then there is also a glimpse
of turquoise especially in the last picture which is taken in direct sunlight.
I have applied two coats of Essence 144 Black is Black which is a
simple black crème polish and then layered two coats of Hell-Bent Blue. The
formula was very smooth, thin but not runny. I had no problems applying it. The
finish is glossy, shimmery and metallic. I skipped the top coat entirely.
Hell-Bent Blue comes in a larger bottle as compared to the last 9ml one. And also the bottles of this particular collection are a sight to
behold themselves, they look very
enchanting and polished with the duochrome/multichromes glistening through. The
nail polishes also come packed in a box. This entire packaging and look makes
the nail polish very high-end.
Honestly, Glitter Gal is nail polish lover’s dream, first
the Holographic Black 3D and then this Hell-Bent Duochrome is taking boring old
polish to another level and seriously whenever I am wearing one of these colours
I don’t even want to take them off.
