MY OPINION

Corals and brights! My two favourite words when it comes to lipsticks. It should not be a surprise that I won’t fall in love with a lipstick which is Shocking & Coral – Shocking Coral from Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Lipsticks line.

The neon-ish red packaging is so loud and sleek and festive. I have to say amazing packaging! And true to its name the colour is a vivid, bright coral. A true coral, a li’l more pink than orange. It’s – it’s – I don’t know how to drool over it – it’s BEAUTIFUL! For a coral lover like me this shade is a dream come true. It has also such a brightening effect on the complexion.

The formula is semi-matte, somewhat creamy; it may emphasize your lip imperfections. You get opaque coverage in one swipe. It is very comfortable to wear. I felt this thing strongly about this particular lipstick that the formula is so weightless I forgot that I was even wearing a lipstick. It lasts for a good 6 hours. In the later hours it starts to feel drying.
