It's summer and it's the season of the NEONS. If you are the one to wear bright, neon nails this season, then Orly Neon Mani Mini Lacquer Trio might tickle your fancy.
Each bottle contains 5.3ml of polish and would be soon available at Beauty Expert. Just keep a look out at their website. The individual nail polishes, however, are already available for sale on Look Fantastic for €12.85 each.
Beach Cruiser is a popping, neon pink and the best neon pink that I ever had. I have tried some neon pinks in the past and both neon yellow and pink are my least favourite of neons. They contrast a lot against my skin and do not look flattering at all. However, Orly's neon pink and neon yellow are something I can carry quite well. The polish is a li'l streaky, the brush is very small (maybe that's how minis are) but the colour is AH-MAZING. I used two coats followed by a top coat.
Glowstick is the highlighter yellow colour. And the name is so darn appropriate for it! It glows like crazy. Super, super, super BRIGHT! This was the streakiest formula of all, like most yellows are. I used two coats above with a top coat but I think it will need another one or two coat for full opacity or better apply it over a white base.
I don't know when I lost love for all lighter blues. I don't like them on my nails any more. But my personal feelings aside, Skinny Dip is a gorgeous bright blue with very subtle indigo shimmer at the back. The shimmer is slightly visible in direct sunlight. This one applied a little patchy too. I don't know if it is only with minis, since I haven't heard people with full size bottles complaining about it. Again two coats and a topcoat used!
This little trio collection is perfect for anybody who wants to delve into some in-your-face bright neons. Keep your eyes peeled as this collection would be soon available at Beauty Expert. I will update this post when it is. They have free shipping worldwide.
