THE BASICS
theBalm Pick-Up
Liners in Karate are a set of three mini eyeliners that are as long as my
pinkie and come with their own mini sharpener.
MY OPINION
I only like theBalm
for their blushes, I have never really bothered with anything else. I just
happened to come across a massive clearance sale where some of theBalm productswere for 2-4 euros, crazy
right? I saw this set of eyeliners, and since eyeliners can always be put to
use I just ordered them.
Karate contains
three shades, Sugar Daddy which is an
olive green, a navy blue Ladies Man
and a purple-plum shade of Lover Boy.
Sadly, the quality of these eyeliners is very cheap. They are very dry and require
a a lot of pressure during application. I only found Sugar Daddy slightly more creamy and
smoother and better pigmented. The colour payoff of the other two is okay, provided you manage to put them on your
eyelids after all that tugging and pulling. I won’t recommend them for the
waterline at all, since they drag a lot.
The packaging is adorable as with all theBalm products, even the minis are cute but I wished they were less dry.
I could not find them on theBalm’s official website, which probably means they have been discontinued.
But maybe you can find them somewhere around you on sale.
These are the swatches obtained after 3-4 swipes:

After giving them each a shot twice, this handy mini case has
just been lying at the back of my drawer.
