THE BASICS
MY OPINION
MUA Power Pouts are very similar to the infamous Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. Honestly, if I had to pick I would be torn between the two since both are better than the other for different reasons. I will compare the two in a sec, let's just talk about this particular shade.
Rendezvous is a warm pinkish-nude shade, beautifully pigmented, slightly glossy and extremely hydrating with the wear time of 2 hours or so without eating and drinking. It also has a slightly minty smell which makes my lips feel pleasantly tingy.
MUA Power Pout undoubtedly takes the toll over Revlon Balm Stains in terms of hydration and shine. The Revlon ones appear semi-matte on lips and even if they are not drying they are not very moisturising either. But in terms of wear-time Revlon definitely wins. It stays on my lips for 3-4 hours and leave a stain which lasts another couple of hours. That being said, MUA charges you only 3 bucks for their lip crayons and you pay Revlon 8 bucks. When I first received the MUA Power Pout I mistook it for Revlon Balm Stains, they are so identical-looking with the same twist-up formula.
I don't wear much nude shades but this one looks so fresh on me and if MUA was easily available here, I would have been stocking some more Power Pouts.
