MY OPINION
If you are a makeup fanatic then you'd know that when the beauty world raves about a particular product it's hard not to get caught in the wind. And also there is nothing more I like than a good setting powder for my under eyes. Not to mention the fact this powder is the essence of the Kim Kardashian look and who doesn't want makeup like hers.
Luckily, I managed to spot an online store in Germany selling this and with an additional shipping of 5 euros, this thing landed in my mail box for a total 20 euros for the smallest size jar. Well, to be honest it definitely is a tad bit expensive; considering its very cheap, not-so-appealing packaging.
Banana Powder out of the Ben Nye Luxury Powder range is the one said to be used on Kim Kardashian by her makeup artist. It is a yellow-tinted very fine setting powder that comes in a very badly manufactured jar with giant holes. A sieve would have been a real help! It is impossible not to spill and waste the powder or to control its amount.
Anyways, we all know this has a major packaging issue. As for the actual product itself, it's A-W-E-S-O-M-E. It is every bit true to the last word it claims. Very, VERY finely milled that it NEVER makes the under eye look cakey no matter how much you apply. The yellow-ness conteracts all the blueish of the dark circles, leaving you with no gray area which we sometimes end up with after using a wrong coloured concealer. Whatever concealer I use, especially the creamiest ones like my Catrice Camouflage Concealer or Missha Signature Extreme Cover Concealer, which are bound to crease no matter what, Banana Powder makes sure they do not budge. And yes the powder also highlights the under eye area very effectively.
It is the best concealer setting powder. And this particular shade Banana is best kept for that, as it won't work well all over the face with its yellow undertones.
It gives me a flawless under eye area and believe me its magic works. And yes even my 40g jar is gonna last me months. I already have had it for two months and it's still almost full.

MY RATING
No doubt its packaging sucks big time but I when it comes to the product itself, I have to give it a 5.
